British Equestrian Federation

The British Equestrian Federation is excited to be involved in the Memory4 Teachers campaign. This is an inspiring time for sport in the UK, with the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London just around the corner, Olympic and Paralympic sport in the UK has a higher profile than ever before. Young people are motivated by the Games and are looking for information on how to get more involved. We are keen to work with school teachers, through Memory4Teachers, to provide the information needed to meet the sporting and physical activity needs of young people and to help young people to make informed choices.

We are pleased to be a partner in the Memory4 Teachers project, uniting schools and external partners with the aim of inspiring children and helping them to become involved in meaningful activity in a safe and enjoyable environment, developing skills and showing alternative lifestyles.

Memory4Teachers offers a simple way for school teachers to gain knowledge and information, in this case, helping school children to access quality sport, physical activity and leisure opportunities.

We hope that the information provided by the BEF showcase provides you with the background you require to become involved in Equestrian sport.
