The British Dragon Boat Racing Association - the BDA, is very happy to be associated with the Memory4Teachers schools project. This partnership will help the BDA to promote Dragon Boat Racing, a 2000 year old Chinese sporting activity, to young people throughout the UK.

Through this initiative Dragon Boating can be introduced to the BDA's main target group and enable us to inform both teachers and pupils not just about Dragon Boating - the Dragon Boat has a crew of 22 people - but also about the history and culture of the Dragon, a power for good in China and the
Far East.

Increasing participation in Dragon Boating as both a sport and a recreational fun activity for all age and ability groups, is a prime objective of the BDA and the information being given out to schools through the Memory4Teachers memory sticks, is a most positive and effective way of introducing young people to a new team activity and sport. After all, one Dragon Boat Crew is two complete Soccer Teams and working with Memory4Teachers is a team effort too.
