GamePlanner Sports Coaching is very pleased to be able support the Memory 4 Teachers initiative.
GamePlanner animation software is a tool to help coaches and teachers provide quality information to players and fellow coaches. Our product range now covers football, rugby, hockey Gaelic football and hurling. The software is used by some of the biggest names in national and international sport, including the mighty New Zealand All Blacks rugby team.
The company was launched in 2000 by David Day and Andrew Quick, both ex-rugby players. They released their first product, Rugby GamePlanner V1 the same year. Their software system allows coaches to create and develop fully animated moves and drills and includes features to store all your team and player information.
According to Managing Director David Day, who came up with the original idea of GamePlanner, the company`s focus has been to develop and improve existing software whilst adapting the system for other sports.
"The idea behind GamePlanner was, and still is, very simple – to create a system that is easy to use and yet enables a teacher / coach to get their message across in a professional way. Using animation enhances players` understanding of the coach`s game plan which translates into improved game results. Coaches also report back that players look forward to training as the sessions are more interesting and varied."
GamePlanner`s involvement in the Memory4Teachers scheme will enables us to provide teachers with a range of sporting plans and ideas. For example our very latest product Hockey GamePlanner V1 comes with over 100 plans, 200 video clips and 25 lesson plans.
With a growing demand for GamePlanner sports animation software from clubs, colleges and national sports associations preparing for the 2012 Olympics, GamePlanner is well set to provide teachers with the tools they need to teach the sporting stars of tomorrow.
